Jaume Roig was born in Terrassa (Barcelona) in 1961. Since his early days, he has moved between sculpture, painting, and installation, developing work with a strong symbolic and spiritual charge. He studied at the Terrassa School of Arts and Crafts and subsequently trained in various sculptural and painting techniques, although his artistic development has been primarily self-taught and experimental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His language has been refined over the years to achieve a recognizable and austere style, close to arte povera, Zen minimalism and certain Eastern spiritual traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
